Writing today meant for next week.

A month ago today we said goodbye

Tears of heartache made me cry

There's so many things that I wanted to say

Now I sit stuck in sorrow and dismay 

I told you I loved you from the moment I knew

And in my heart that will forever and always remain true

I never thought it would end like this

Before I was able to give you your first kiss

I was anxious to see the things you would do 

Now I'll never know, never have a clue

I wasn't prepared for the sadness this brings

But I'm comforted in knowing you gained your angel wings
